Hawthorn Fairy
Hawthorn Fairy figure Made with black clay, hand painted with a dried Hawthorn berry from a sacred tree at the Black Magdalene home, a glass heart, black rhinestone and wings made of thin transparency paper and glued on back with brass peacock charm. In Celtic mythology, the Hawthorn Tree was considered sacred and often associated with the fae realm (fairies). Celts believed it served as a gateway between the physical and spiritual worlds. Hawthorn berries are also know to balance your heart chakra, help with grief and protect you from negative energies
This figure does not stand on its own, but it will include a black tea light candle so you can make your own stand for it. To make the stand, light the candle and allow wax to melt halfway through. You then blow out flame and stick the base of figure into the wax, hold in place until wax cools. There is a candle stand tutorial video in top highlights section on my Instagram page
